As we continue to share Jesus with the least and the lost, we’re getting to partner with some incredible people across the globe who want to reach their own nations with the gospel. As a result, we’re launching more international hubs to take the message of Jesus around the world.
Our newest hub, Message Brazil, has just launched. Headed up by Daniel Eduardo, he’s hit the ground running! Already Daniel’s begun building relationships with young people in nearby favelas (the places considered the toughest to live), connecting with local churches, and will shortly be releasing new gospel-filled music that he’ll use in schools and youth groups as he shares Jesus’ love and hope.
‘I’m so excited to be in Rio de Janeiro,’ says Daniel, ‘we’re seeing God open doors left, right, and centre! Many ask, what’s the plan? Simple, we’re just going to follow in the footsteps of Andy and the team at The Message HQ: preaching the gospel through creative mission whilst partnering with local churches and going into schools. I’m really excited to see what God is going to do in this beautiful country!’
Time and again, music is the way we get to connect with young people and communities. And it’s thanks to the amazing foundations laid from past creative mission, that we’re excited to be launching another new hub in Europe! In March, mission team OTC headed to The Netherlands for a schools week. Over five days, they got to run lessons and assemblies, telling over 880 young people about Jesus, and inviting them to the end-of-week evangelistic gig. And as 185 came along, 50 responded to the gospel!
Off the back of this mission week, God has opened doors to take creative mission into even more schools across The Netherlands, and churches are wanting to partner with us to make this happen. We’re excited that from November, our friend Daniel ter Maten will be heading up Message Netherlands.
And that’s not all! As news about the impact Message South Africa is having on lives grows, and Advance Groups equip thousands across Africa in evangelism, there’s a growing hunger for mission throughout the continent. So, we’re partnering with our long-term friend, John Bunjo, to launch Message Uganda with a Festival Manchester-style festival in 2024.
As we expand our global partnerships, and join forces with passionate men and women who are desperate to see the good news of Jesus shared in their nations, we’re so excited for the incredible things God will do.
