The Message Trust is passionately sharing the good news of Jesus with young people and urban communities through word and action around the world.

Everyone needs to hear about the love and hope Jesus offers them and have the chance to respond to it. In schools, urban communities and prisons you will find The Message Trust running creative and practical projects that meet people where they are and offer them the support and encouragement they need. As we do this God is changing lives.

What we do

Creative mission

We want every young person to hear the good news of Jesus. Using the power of music, drama, and other art forms we connect with young people in schools, communities and prisons sharing the gospel in relevant and engaging ways. Every year, our creative mission teams tell hundreds of thousands of young people about Jesus and see thousands respond to Christ and get involved in their local churches.

Community transformation

We believe that faith is expressed not only in words but also in deeds. Our community transformation work shows God’s love through practical support within local neighbourhoods. You will find our teams partnering with local churches to live and work in some of the poorest urban areas around the world. As our projects address community needs, we see crime rates drop, churches grow, and lives transformed by Jesus.

Prisons and enterprise

We work in prisons across the world, running courses, church services, and Bible studies. As people hear about Jesus, many respond to the gospel and turn from their lives of crime. Our work continues outside of prison too. Through enterprises we support ex-offenders as they transition back into society, providing them with the training, jobs, housing and discipleship to help them break free from re-offending and build a new future based on Jesus.

Equipping and training

We are passionate about equipping and training individuals to share their faith with confidence. Every Christian has a role to play in sharing the gospel, so we provide resources to help them do this. On almost every continent around the world, we train and equip evangelists through mentoring, gap-year programmes, events, and leadership development, seeing men, women and young people sharing the good news of Jesus with a new boldness.
